Povidone Iodine Single Use Prep Pads
This is a different review, I was looking for some antiseptic disinfectant for my IFAK/FAK and for daily EDC,
Possibly in single use Prep-Pads and at least 1% content in Povidone-Iodine. And also, not in 100 or 1000 packs, for one person it’s too much, really, you end up having them all dry and useless.
Povidone-Iodine Prep Pads are an antiseptic (cleansing and sterilizing agent) and topical antibiotic. Povidone-Iodine is effective and painless which means it doesn’t hurt when applied to an open wound.
Be aware that some people are allergic to iodine so always check with the person before using it on them. Povidone-Iodine is not meant to be used on severe burns or puncture wounds.
I found these on amazon from China, very cheap at 20 for little less than 3€
These are single-use only, sterile and waterproof, they easily fit in a wallet, FAK, survival kit or EDC kit, do not stay without these.
More of it later on the website and in real use, hopefully these won’t be needed often, but, knife people should keep them handy!
